The Samsung ML-1916 is Samsung’s newest entry-level machine, and it promises to have a fast print speed in addition to an innovative additional button. The Samsung ML-1916 impresses with its tidiness and seems to be practically the same size as the sheets of A4 paper that it prints on. However, if you flip the printer over, you will be able to see how Samsung was able to do this. There is a protrusion at the rear that covers the tail end of the paper tray, but it is thin enough that it is not seen from the front of the device.
The straightforward control panel consists of two LED indicators and three buttons; power and task cancel are controlled by two of the buttons, respectively. The third button is for screen printing, which, as far as we are aware, can only be done with this particular printer. When you press the button, it will print whatever is shown on the screen of the device to which it is attached, but it will scale it down so that it will fit on the paper.
A paper tray that can hold 250 sheets is located at the very bottom of the front panel, and just above it is a multi-purpose slot that can accommodate a single sheet of paper. The USB plug located on the rear is the sole data connection available.
