HP ENVY Pro 6475 is an inkjet multifunction all-in-one printer that is suitable for usage in a home setting. It is a variant of the HP ENVY Pro 6400, and it is offered for sale in a bundle that also includes a membership to HP Instant Ink for a period of two years.
In spite of the fact that the ENVY Pro 6475 has a scanner with an automatic document feeder, it does not enable duplex scanning. As a result, scanning printed documents on both sides takes significantly more time. Despite this, it is capable of printing images of exceptional quality and has remarkable color fidelity. It employs a cartridge technology that is inferior to that of its sister and generates a meager number of pages. As a result, it requires more frequent replacement of the cartridge, which ultimately results in more significant costs per print.
It takes a long time to print both black-and-white and color documents, and its input tray can only hold a maximum of 100 sheets of paper at once, so it is not an ideal choice for jobs that require a lot of printing. The possibilities for connectivity are sufficient, and support is provided for the HP Smart App.
The selection of connectivity options provided by the ENVY Pro 6475 is sufficient. Additionally, it supports both wired and wireless connections in addition to direct printing via AirPrint and Mopria. Unfortunately, it does not include a connector for an Ethernet cable, and it is not compatible with USB drives or any other external storage devices.
The HP ENVY Photo 7858 is superior to the 6475 for the vast majority of applications and usage. The 7858 product is excellent to the 6475 in that it has a display screen and a wider variety of options for communication, including an Ethernet port and Bluetooth functionality.
